Chief Executive Officer, SOEW
Executive Director: South Ocean

Paul was appointed as CEO during the year.
Paul joined South Ocean in 1999 as Marketing Operations Manager and was appointed Marketing Director in January 2007 and CEO of SOEW in August 2008. He has pursued a career in marketing electrical wires and cable for the last 17 years.
 

Sales Manager

Yasmin joined SOEW in 2002 as a sales consultant. She was appointed Sales Manager in 2007
and has been in the cable industry for the past 16 years before joining South Ocean. She
started her working career in 1987 for a large cable manufacturer in South Africa.

Millwright Trade
Production Manager

Johan joined SOEW in 1999 as an electrician. He was appointed Technical Manager in 2006
and Production Manager in 2009. Johan has 10 years’ cable and technical experience.

Financial Manager

Dean joined SOEW in May 2009. After qualifying as a chartered accountant, Dean was
appointed as a financial manager for a manufacturing business in 1993 and was later
appointed financial director of the group. He has also worked in the FMCG and IT industries.

Administration Manager

Kim joined SOEW in November 2000 as Accountant & IT Administrator. In March 2008 she was appointed Administration Manager, and has worked in the manufacturing industry since 1988.  
Before joining SOEW, she worked as an Administration Manager & IT Administrator for an Anglo American subsidiary. 

Purchasing Manager

Caron joined SOEW in King William’s Town in September 1997 as a Buyer.  She relocated with the Company to Johannesburg in 2002 and has since been promoted to Purchasing Manager.

Human Resources Manager

Ken has more than 23 Years experience in Human Resources Management.   Proficient in all areas relating to HR, Industrial/Employment relations, Training and Development.
His experience has been in the Mining, Government and Private sector. Ken joined South Ocean in April 2009.
